About Peter

Peter was born and educated in Barham. In 1979 he began a carpentry and joinery apprenticeship with the NSW State Water Commission. Upon completion he moved to Melbourne and worked as a shop fitter, working on several large scale projects including the refurbishment of the old Buckley and Nunn store transforming it to David Jones in the Bourke Street Mall.

In 1983 he returned to Barham and took up shearing. Peter enjoyed the challenges of shearing and worked hard to establish a reputation of shearing 200 per day. The opportunity to return to carpentry came when his parents wanted to build a new home and asked Peter to do it. He soon undertook the extra study required to obtain his Building Contractors licence and since that time hasn’t looked back.
